What a weekend…!!!

SO GUYS do I have an exciting update for you all as I sit here with a Lush ‘Dark Angles’ face mask on… and in my underwear, I reminisce over the past weekend.

Last weekend was Australia’s Mardi Gras festival, and safe to say was honestly SOOOOO AMAZING. I will admit I did get very VERY drunk, however I think that’s part of the fun it. Mardi Gras is the celebration of the LGBTI community, and it’s a weekend of total AWE, the amazing costumes, colours, themes and GLITTERRRRRR.

Honestly, the whole night went SO SO fast, however I am still suffering froIMG_2461m the tiredness a week later…

I will of course, share some of the photos we got. Just a shoutout to anyone, everywhere, if you ever have the chance to attend one of these events, PLEASE DO. You will not only have the time of your life, but you will also be supporting a cause which needs everyones support, a cause which only aims to share the love between us all. Personally, I do not identify myself as being in the LGBIT category, however I 10000000% agree and fight for their plight, which truly we all should if we care about others.

Anyways, just thought i’d update my favourite bunch on how its all going and my whereabouts. Tell me what you think, and CONSTRUCTIVE criticism in the comments section down bellow, and I shall chat to you all soon

๐Ÿ“ Weekly MUST HAVE’S !! ๐Ÿ“

Hey guys I am back with another posttttttt, yaaaaasss. Anyways….

Whilst sitting here with my french onion dip, I wondered what my next post shall be about, it took a few hours but then BOOM, possibly the biggest (and easiest) thing, which is my weekly MUST HAVE’S, and unfortunately it does not have anything to do with strawberries ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

By weekly must have’s, many things on this list can/should be used everyday, however other items simply do not. Now i’ve told you about my boring and useless thought process, lets get on into it !!!

First of all, and probably the most important thing… W A T E R !!!

Now it might sound like your parents, teachers, boss or even a beauty guru on YouTube (I mean, goals rightttt) But water is actually very VERY good for you in all different ways. Apart from all the boring parts that we don’t really see, such as cleaning your bowel system, as well as your vital organs from muck and rubbish that you have put into you body (SUCH AS VODKA AM I RIGHT EVERYONE). However, it also aids in ridding the dreaded and honestly life ending attack of Acne, I know what it feels like waking up to the day of your school photos or interview with a HUGE ASS pimple square in the middle of your chin… tough times.

Although water also helps in clearing out your mind, it makes you (well ME definitely) think much much clearer, reaching goals and ticking off jobs becomes ALOT easier with a bottle of water by your side.

I mean…. you obviously don’t HAVE to go and buy yourself a Fiji water bottle, but ya know I live for the aesthetics.

Second of all comes….. Lushs’ DARK ANGLES facial cleanser and mask !!

The beauty of this make is what happens after you wash it off. The mask leaves those acne spots, red marks, skin discolouration and pigmentation CLEAR, CLEANSED AND REFRESHED. Every time I use this I fall back in love with it, truly a lifesaver.

Now, if your obsessive like me… you will use it every night and think nothing of it, however, that proves redundant due to the short amount of time it takes to run out. The black as night mixture scrubs onto your face and cleans out each and every pore, leaving it 100000% better than what it was before.

Not much else to describe it than WOW LIFE CHANGING !!!

Next we have the Bondi Sands self tanner in LIGHT/MEDIUM. I used to think everyone who said that tanning made them happy and made their ‘life change’ were over dramatic, like right your just colouring your skin darker ??….BUT LET ME TELL YOU EVERY REVUE ABSOLUTELY TRUE, AND I WILL PUT MYSELF OUT THERE AND SAY THAT; YES IT HAS CHANGED MY LIFE FOR THE BETTER.

Now YES although it is tempting to do it everyday, probably not best because you will be colouring your sheets too. However the bonus of Bondi Sands tanner is that, it washes out of everything and anything (even my painfully white sheets), and it lasts FOREVER, and gives you the most bronzed god/goddess look you could ever ask for. I strongly suggest using a Mitt, just to protect yourself against the horrible tanning crime of streaks, leaving you with a beautifully even BRONZED tan.

Finally my last two recommendations are subjective, it depends on what you feel like and what you are comfortable and capable of doing.

Maybellines’ DREAM FRESH BB cream is honestly life changing for anyone that feels their skin tones are uneven. It applies easily, stays stuck on your face the whole day with whatever you’re doing (believe me I go to gym with it on), however it also doesn’t allow shininess or flashback in any type of sunlight or photograph.

For me, I personally don’t use heavier make up products such as foundation, concealer etc, however I like and WILL NEVER SAY NO to something that will make me look even better. I wear the shade LIGHT, due to the fact that i’m PALE (AF), however they also have a medium and dark shade too.

Then we have the ‘VO5 Texture rework extreme style ‘hair gel.. talk about a mouth full.

I have used hair gel or ‘putty’ ever since I was in my first year of high school, and I have gone through many MANY brands, but this brand gives me the best outcome for my hair. Me myself, I have very think and wavy/curly hair, and this just keeps it tame throughout the (often blistering hot) day. Yet SOMEHOW it still leaves my hair feeling light and fluffy.. PUUURRRFECT

Okay guys, thanks again for tuning in to one of my lame af blog posts !!! I absolutely adore anyone that takes the time to read em ๐Ÿ™‚ Hopefully you gained something out of this post, and if not, then i’m DEEPLY sorry, go have a donut !!

Leave me a few comments on your thoughts and i’ll catch you guys on the flipside (wow i’ve ALWAYS wanted to say that)….OK ANYWAYS

Me, Myself & I;

So, as I sit here on a 14 degree Winters day in Sydney Australia (Which is quite cold for Australia, mind you), I ponder on those questions that ‘everybody’ is essentially is trying to answer. Also those questions that not everybody gets to answer, in one lifetime of course. However, through this short blog post I aim to not only tell you (the readers), about myself, but also in turn educate my own self a little.

My name is Matthew Graham, I am an 18-year-old first year University student, studying Psychology, and currently my only interests are stalking people’s ridiculously ‘perfect’ lives on social media, and honestly… food. Of course I have other interests, but I recognise these ‘crucial’ aspects of my life.

I like to think of myself as a sociable ‘internet person’, although I love physically going out, I also love just laughing into a screen which is connected with those that I feel closest to. I have gathered over the years, that when physical invitations do arrive, I often get anxious. I have not fully discovered why this has happened, as nothing has really changed. But I am working on it.

I currently has obsession with Instagram, which is what most teens will say nowadays, however, I also have been obsessed with Instagram from the first day I created my account. Although it can be ‘fake’, it often brought out a much more artistic and creative side of myself that I had neglected (purposely or not, you be the judge). I however, have an interest in the picture and editing process of the picture before it is ever uploaded. My friends will often ask me to edit, and although I may not seem amazing in terms of my editing skills I feel as though I am a whiz on VSCO cam and FaceTune. (Wow did I really just say that, how awkward)

I also have an obsession with traveling, I don’t think life would be worth living without the aspect of traveling. In particular, I have an interest in Europe and European Culture. Due to the fact that half my family are Danish, I suppose this is where it has stemmed from. I have only ever been to Europe twice before, and both times (Although I don’t remember the first quite as vividly as the second due to my age), I loved every second of it. My latest visit was in 2014, when I went on a school trip to Italy, Belgium and France. It was magical to say the least.

I have struggled a long time discovering what it means to be ‘happy’. My younger self often thought it was being with friends 24/7, a little later I thought it was getting ‘good’ marks and receiving physical objects. Finally, I am coming to the realisation that happiness is not an object, an occurrence or even a luxurious trip in the Greek Islands. Rather, it is a state of mind… And yes I can imagine what you are thinking “blah blah blah heard this all before there is nothing new or is an extraordinary discovery”, which is true we have heard this all before. But those who claim to ‘find’ happiness often don’tย inform you on how to incorporate it into your own life.

Not only does the word ‘content’ fly around when I think of the work happiness, but also does drive, passion and determination. Happiness does not have to be a word with a singular meaning, as my Ancient History teacher would say “it has many facets”. Happiness can and does involve all those things I previously thought. However, there is an emphasis on plural. It can involve many things, and happiness believe it or not, can also involve materialistic items, as well as emotional and spiritual gifts that nourish the soul.ย For instance, as simple and dumb as it may seem, I have only just started to feel the happiness and appreciation when I see and feel the sun throughout this Winter period.

Yet another ‘materialistic’ happiness I ‘discovered’ was YouTube. I never imagined being a YouTuber myself, however I do like taking my mind off my own life, and essentially masking it while I become invested in someone else’s. Now I am not going to be here doing a ‘review’ of YouTubers that I watch. Although, one YouTuber that brings me great happiness, and truly represents the infamous and overused teenage ridden quote “you do you”, which is Tana Mongeau, who shares crazy (often unbelievable) stories about her past and present, public and personal life.

Now I don’t mean to get all “preachy” about this topic, but I believed I must address it when talking about myself, as we can all relate to being on a journey of happiness, no matter how you view yourself and your surroundings.

As I conclude this post I hope that I let you in on a part of my life that surprisingly don’t share. And if you have read up to this point then a hope you have a wonderful morning/day / evening / night, and I wish you the very best. As this is my first post, I do not have a scheduled, however, share your opinion if you liked what you read and I shall write again.
